Employee Benefit Plans
The Company has a 401(k) profit sharing plan covering U.S. employees who are 21 years of age. The Company’s contribution is based on a non-discretionary match as defined by the plan which vests immediately. The Company made contributions of $6.5 million, $4.2 million, and $4.7 million to the plan for the years ended December 31, 2023, 2022, and 2021. The Skechers U.S.A., Inc. Deferred Compensation Plan allows eligible employees to defer compensation up to a maximum amount to a future date on a nonqualified basis. The Plan provides for the Company to make discretionary contributions to participating employees as determined by the Company’s Compensation Committee. No contributions were made for the years ended December 31, 2023, and 2022 and $0.1 million was contributed for the year ended December 31, 2021. Deferred compensation is recognized based on the fair value of the participants’ accounts. |
