The Skechers Foundation (the “Foundation”) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity and not a subsidiary or otherwise affiliated with the Company. The Company does not have a financial interest in the Foundation. However, two officers and directors of the Company, Michael Greenberg, the Company’s President, and David Weinberg, the Company’s Chief Operating Officer, are also officers and directors of the Foundation. During the years ended December 31, 2021, 2020, and 2019, the Company made contributions of $3.0 million, $2.3 million, and $1.0 million to the Foundation.

The Company had receivables from officers and employees of $1.3 million and $1.0 million at December 31, 2021 and 2020. These amounts relate to travel advances, incidental personal purchases on Company-issued credit cards and employee loans. These receivables are short-term and are expected to be repaid within a reasonable period of time. In March 2021, the Company purchased two properties for $2.7 million, from an entity controlled by its President, Michael Greenberg, to facilitate future expansion of the Company’s corporate office buildings in Manhattan Beach, California. The terms of the sale were no less favorable than could be obtained from an unrelated third party. The Company had no other significant transactions with or payables to officers, directors or significant stockholders of the Company.
